What an equal rent split estimates
An equal rent split divides the property's monthly rent into identical payments for each roommate. The calculator also converts each person's share into annual, weekly, and daily estimates; it does not include utilities, deposits, or other household expenses.
How the equal split is calculated
Monthly rent per person = Total monthly rent / Number of roommates
Annual rent per person = Monthly rent per person × 12
Weekly rent per person = Monthly rent per person / 4.33
