Effective Lead Cost After Refunds
When some purchased leads are refunded, your effective cost per lead changes:
Effective Lead Cost = (Total Spend - Refunds) / (Total Leads - Refunded Leads)
For example, if you spent $750 on 30 leads but received $50 back for 2 bad leads, your effective cost is ($750 - $50) / (30 - 2) = $700 / 28 = $25.00 per lead, which is more accurate than the original $25.00 average.
